Just an update to make everyone aware of the current situation:

In their enthusiasm to start 2010's '52 Weeks of Blythe' photo challenge, a number of members posted photos during yesterday. As it was decided that the first week of January (officially) did not actually start until Monday, January 4th, our challenge would not start until then either. By adding photos this week, those members would effectively be out of sync with the rest of us.

I have therefore temporarily removed the few photos that were added, sent individual messages to all explaining the situation and blocked further uploads to the group pool until Monday when everything will re-open for submissions...

Please be aware that I am based in British Columbia, Canada, and am some 8 hours behind GMT, which means my 'Monday' won't start until some time later than most other members. Due to personal commitments Monday morning, I will therefore aim to re-open the pool for submissions from 1pm (PST) on Monday. To see what time this will be where you are, please check the World Time Server. If my situation changes to enable me to jump online any time sooner, then I will do so.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for this confusion - I guess I should have seen it coming! We learn...

Thank you all for your understanding. I am overwhelmed by the enthusiasm that this little challenge has received.
